Join Enjoy Korea as we celebrate the start of spring with this awesome weekend getaway. Visit the beautiful and peaceful Nami Island, cruise along the banks of the north Nam river on a railbike, and enjoy Alpaca World all in one activity packed weekend.
SATURDAY
After departing our home cities we’ll make the drive to our first stop of the weekend, Alpaca World. There’s so much to see and do, take an Alpaca for a walk, feed a rabbit, or just admire the many other animals such as ostrich, peacocks, owl and deer. Take a healing walk around the scenic forest area and if you need a rest, chill in the hammock or bean bag areas.
Our next stop is the Gangchon rail bike, the longest rail bike course in Korea. Cruise along the discontinued rail line enjoying the stunning mountains, river valley views, and dipping through the Disco, Bubble and Romance themed train tunnels. There’s 4 people to 1 bike and it’s electronically assisted at times, so pedalling is never too difficult. There’s also a refreshment cafe stop halfway to grab a coffee or traditional snack.
We’ll then hop back on the bus and drive to our hotel. After check-in you can grab dinner at one of the nearby restaurants, there’s a great craft beer restaurant across the road. The hotel also has a late night mart, Noraebang, and restaurant which serves a buffet breakfast (optional, not included).
Our hotel rooms each have 2 rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. Currently the maximum group size for the rooms if 4, if your group is smaller we can room you with other groups, if it’s larger we can room you next door to each other. (If restrictions relax before the event we can offer rooms for larger groups). Same gender rooms are available and we also do our best to room solo travelers together as well. Private rooms are available upon request for an additional charge.
SUNDAY
On Sunday morning we’ll make the short drive to Nami Island. To get onto the island itself we’ll need to take a short ferry ride, which just adds to the excitement. Nami Island is truly magical and unique, it declared its cultural independence from the Republic of Korea and called itself the ‘Naminara Republic’, celebrating music and art, it even has its own currency which you can choose to use. During our visit, the cherry blossoms will be in bloom making for the perfect backdrop for a spring stroll. You can also explore by bike or the mini tourist train. Enjoy a picnic under a shaded tree, or stop into one of the cafes and restaurants throughout the island to grab a coffee or a bite to eat.
The trip includes:
- Round-trip private charter bus departing from Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon & Changwon.
- 1 nights accommodation in a nice hotel (not pension or motel) with traditional ondol bedding
- Transportation between all attractions
- Round-trip Ferry and admittance to Nami Island
- Admittance into Alpaca World and the rail bike
- An English speaking trip leader and all the fun and organisation you’d expect from an Enjoy Korea trip. (We perform regular temperature checks and coronavirus precautions.)
The price for all this is only 159,000krw.

ROOMING INFO

Private rooms are available upon request for an additional charge. They are traditional ondol style rooms. Same gender and quieter rooms can be requested after booking. Your preferences can be made via the room request form we send out a few weeks before the trip departure.
HOTEL INFO
The hotel also has a late night mart, Noraebang, and restaurant which serves an impressive buffet breakfast (optional, not included) for 23,310krw, including our 10% discount. There are kitchens in the room if you choose to bring or buy your own breakfast.
CANCELLATION POLICY
– On or before March 25th – 10% cancellation fee.
– After March 25th, or after departure city sells out – 25% cancellation fee.
– After April 1st – No refund can be given, sorry.
– No transferring spots to other people.
– In the unlikely event we need to cancel the event due to the coronavirus, we will offer a full refund (minus 15,000krw admin charge), so you can book with confidence.

DEPARTURE INFORMATION

Busan – Depart 8.45am Deokcheon Subway Station.
Changwon – Depart 8am. In front of Changwon bus terminal.
Daegu – Depart 9.30am. Banwoldang Subway Station.
Seoul – 12pm. Seoul National University of Education Subway Station.
CORONAVIRUS PRECAUTIONS
We assume as you’re attending the trip you 1) aren’t displaying any symptoms, and 2) haven’t had any exposure to the existing virus clusters. If however you have, please inform us prior to the trip as well as your employer or relevant authority to seek further guidance.
The following measures will be in place for your safety:
1) Your temperature will be taken before boarding the bus both departing to and returning from the resort.
2) Please wear a mask at all times on the bus and as required throughout the weekend.
3) Please maintain a 2 meter distance between people where possible.
4) Hand sanitiser will be available at the front of the bus, please use it, and also wash your hands regularly where possible.
5) Rooms will have a maximum occupancy of 4 people. This may change if restrictions are relaxed before the trip.
