Summer is right around the corner so take advantage of the lovely sunny weather, and travel to the beautiful island of Namhae.
Situated on the south coast, Namhae often referred to as Treasure Island, is home to some of the most stunning scenery in Korea. This small yet beautiful island has amazing crystal clear blue water, white sandy beaches and pine covered mountains. Still largely unspoiled, you can see traditional rice terraces scattered throughout the island. The beaches are among the prettiest in Korea, and are far less busy and commercialized than some of the others.
Enjoy Korea’s Namhae excursion offers you the best of Namhae Island including soothing on the beautiful beaches, the cultural beauty of ancient rice terraces, breathtaking sunrise views from the mountain top ‘Geumsan Boriam Temple, and Namhae’s Beef and Garlic Festival (more fun than it sounds)
We’ll be staying at the beautiful Sangju beach, visiting Daerangi Village which feels like you’ve been time warped into the past with it’s walk through the rice terraces down to the sea. Another one of Namhae’ fabulous sites, is the mountain top temple Geumsan Boriam, we’ll visit during sunrise for an amazing spiritual experience.
We offer you the option of a lovely beachside pension, or for those wanting to keep it al fresco you can camp alongside the beach.

Time: Meet at 8.05am, depart at 8.15am.
Place: In front of the Dong A shopping centre, Banwoldang Exit 17.
(If you take a taxi, please don’t ask for Dong A shopping as there are two in Daegu and people have been taken to the wrong one in the past.)
Time: Meet at 9.10am, depart at 9.15am

Depending on traffic the journey times to Namhae are:
from Busan 3.5 hours
from Daegu 3 hours
from Daejeon 3.5 hours
from Seoul 5 hours

We will depart Namhae at 4pm on Sunday. Add 30 minutes onto the journey times above to account for afternoon traffic.
