Boseong Green Tea Fields Light Festival 2017 (Day Trip)Winter
There are a few must see places in Korea and the Boseong Green Tea Plantations is definitely one of them.
The rolling vibrant green hills, the tall cedar trees dispersed throughout the fields and a bamboo forest make for a truly beautiful day out. If the natural beauty of it all doesn’t completely tempt you, then the wonderful lights in the evening will. Throughout the months of December and January, the Boseong Green Tea Fields get into the festive spirit and the plantation is lit up with beautiful lights and light sculptures.
Visitors can take in the sights from the Dahyanggak Pavilion Observatory, stroll through the colorfully lit green tea fields, visit the themed exhibits such as the Love Galaxy Light Tunnel, and the Green Tea Themed Street. And of course, don’t forget to taste some of the tea in one of the local tea shops, or sample the green tea ice-cream.
There are two separate parts of the festival, at the tea fields themselves, and down at the coast by the beach, and Enjoy Korea takes you to both
This is definitely one of the places you don’t want to miss out visiting during your time in Korea!
Boseong is a pain to get to using public transport, so let Enjoy Korea take the stress away.
